Announce: We're updating the official Spotify app

It would be in the apps section. Did you fully refresh the web UI? Is a
supported player connected to your LMS?

I'm a little step furher. After removing the Triode Spotify app the Logitech app appeared, with the message to enable the spotify app. Now when I select the Spotify App in the LMS Web Gui I get the following error "There was an error loading the remote feed for Spotify: (502 Bad Gateway)"

That last issue probably was just me breaking the web UI for a minute or
two... please try again. And sorry for that interruption.

Depends of what you want: if you want the new official app and no
streaming on old players, then yes, uninstall it. If you want support
for Classic/Boom/Receiver/Transporter, then you'll need to continue to
run Triode's plugin, but won't have the new features.

I did think about modifying Triode's plugin to allow the best of the two
worlds. Or provide yet another plugin based on his giving the ability to
stream to any player while using mysb.com for the navigation... check it
out on github if you feel adventurous:

(because I need this myself, as I like the new implementation and want
to stream to my Transporter :-))

Well, disabling the "Show in My Apps" preference in Triodes Spotify seems to do the trick...

Well, If I recall correctly I had both plugins active en showing up in 'My Apps' in the past. However, in the current LMS build it looks like it is not possible to list 2 plugins with same name under the same menu. Disabling the "Show in My Apps" preference in Triodes Spotify will make it appear under 'Radio' instead of 'My Apps'.
