Just posted on the AirPlay Bridge thread that I got that working just fine. With AirPlay, the bridge found the player immediately but I did initially experience playback issues which your instructions suggested might be down to the firewall. I made a manual addition (running the EXE somehow did to trigger the prompt you were expecting) and things were just sweet from there-on.

Can you check whether your firewall is blocking any messages? Depending on the firewall does it have rules for UPnP?

After anything from 30 seconds to 8 minutes the music stops due to the parsing error. I've changed the <stream_length> to -1,-2 and 0 without any effect. Streaming local files or Tidal/Qobuz doesn't matter. Roon is enabled in the config.xml, the sample rate is set to 192k. Her's what's happening:

    Are those bugs related?
Is there a fix for the http parsing error?
I'm really greatful for all replies and suggestions.
Does anyone have an idea of what's causing the problem?

I don't know when exactly the Android device UPnP UDN changes; it is not simply upon reboot - testing indicates that alone does not do it. It could be possibly that doing a system update causes it.

Regardless, I have found that each UPnP player, generates it's own unique MAC too - at least unique to the LAN, which is different from the device's hw iface MAC, at least I see this occurring in both Android and Linux. These MAC addresses start with bb:bb: ... I don't know if this also happens in Windows.

The player's generation of it's UDN can be quite strange, and it is up to the player to decide how it wants to handle it. I have found that gmrender, which I have been playing with on my Linux laptop, does NOT change the UDN field. I will send an email to Bubblesoft and ask them why their UPnP UDN changes, and is there a way to stop this from happening.

I note that BubbleUPnP is not changing the entire UDN, only part of it, for example the UPnP UDN on my Android phone...

Re UPnP MAC, itís not the player itself itís my bridge creating a fake MAC address for LMS. This is armless and just used by LMS to identify it. Reason for that is that you can have multiple software players on the same real MAC.

Im now noticing a bug with this..

will not play next track in current playlist automatically...

    UPNP Bridging to Sonos

    Using latest version

Casting with the other plug in is fine to my chromecast and google home no such issue..

EDIT - Figured it out.. Force Gapless and set Http mode to fixed (if you want time remaining bar to have less jumping and be anywhere near accurate)

No you should not have to set anything with Sonos, all defaults work. What model is that?

If only there'd be a way to search this thread for keywords.

    Play 1..

Had to, to get it to work.. never had any issues previously.. been using it for years, with 2 Play 1''s and Sub in my dining room..

Something changed with your last update ?

I have Playbar with the IKEA bookends and also a Sonos Move.. I changed for all them to.. though I didn't see if this issue is the same with those devices

Will test later and report back

Thank you for explaining this - I did not understand how it worked.

I have been in communication with the developer of the BubbleUPnP app, and he believes he understands what was causing the UUID to change occasionally, and is working on a future update to fix that behavior.
