    Jivelite for piCorePlayer

    > Would it look a little better if the album image was framed

    No :-).

I really wanted to have the artwork as large as possible. And with most
Pi display cases offering more black framing than I'd consider elegant,
I don't see why I would want to add some black pixels. But that's
    obviously just my opinion.

Did you change to code to achieve your screenshot?

It's not a single file, but a bunch of files for corners, sides, fill:

    https://github.com/ralph-irving/jive...images/Buttons

If you want to get rid of the arrow all together you'd best edit the
JogglerSkinApplet.lua to remove the image. After the following line
you'd need to define "img = false,". That might work (haven't tested this)

Thank you for this Michael, unfortunately the pCP is readonly and beyond my ability to save JogglerSkinApplet.lua .

    any advise appreciated chaps.

I have the latest version of picoreplayer working on a pi3

Jivelite and the HD Grid Skin enabled,

I keep getting a display pulse every 10 seconds, the music plays uninterupted but the screen pulse is driving me mad.

any ideas why it does this? doesn't seem to matter what skin I use or monitor I connect to the result is the same

    Inadequate power supply?

I haven't heard of that before.

Greg, an inadequate power supply manifests as a yelow lightning bolt in a black square in the top right corner of the display (for me)

True huxmut, but that is assuming both the RPi and screen are using the one supply.

My gut feeling is flickering on the screen is a hardware issue rather than software.

    Hi,
Just a 'learning' question. Is Jivelite updated through the normal Picoreplayer updates or does this have to be done manually? Thanks.

If it helps external monitors are running dedicated power and are connected via HDMI

The pulse only happens when jivelite is in use, if jivelite is disabled no pulse at the command line

The monitor never shows a lack of signal just a flash of the screen
