    Hi guys

Quick question - does anyone know if Erlands Custom Clock plugin / applet works with piCorePlayer/Jivelite?

I have an old custom clock configuration I made for my (long departed) Touch many moons ago and I'd love to be able to adapt it to my piCorePlayer with 7" screen.

BTW kolossos4730 i love your VU meters. Thanks.

    enabling touch?

The current version of piCorePlayer does not support the touch interface. Easiest thing to do is attach a USB mouse or keyboard to configure JiveLite. Then quit JiveLite using the [Quit] button on the home screen to save changes. This does not always work for me (changes does not survive a reboot), so to be sure I use piCorePlayer's web interface to backup the settings using the "[Backup] Backup your changes" button on the main page (for this button to be visible you have to select the beta tab at the bottom of the page).

I use a FLIRC adapter in combination with an original Squeezebox remote to emulate a keyboard.
Hi. I am amazed that I have got to the point of the question that the above answer refers to: I have assembled a Raspberry Pi B+ and a Raspberry Pi touchscreen to the point that it plays music and displays the language choice screen in Jivelite. However, obviously touch is not enabled.

I have examined this thread and the piCoreplayer thread to find a solution and I can't seem to figure out how to proceed to get jivelite on a piCoreplayer to accept touch commands.

If someone could give me a detailed step by step howto to enable touch, I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks.

Nope, it's not really an unique design:

Very nice work! Thanks for allowing us to include it with jivelite.

We have been working on a method of adding VU Meters easily, so we need to name your VU Meter in this format "VU_Meter_XXX_XXX_XXX", for example "VU_Meter_Logitech_Black".

Can I suggest something like "VU_Meter_Kolossos_XXXXX"?

    regards

    Thanks for the compliment!

For the Custom Clock applet see Ralphy's answer in another thread, especially his comment on lua-jit.

I'm sorry, but I cannot help you with HDMI issues as I only have an official 7" screen attached to my Pi. I did have a small 800x480 HDMI connected display and I had to edit /boot/config.txt for it to work.

There are lots of "HDMI tweaks" for the Raspberry Pi. See this link for all the official options.

    Thanks.

That begs the question - is piCorePlayer using Triode's (lua-jit based) Jivelite or Ralphy's (lua) Jivelite ?
