After not too much effort, I'm able to access my Logitech Media Server remotely, securely and for free over cellular using a VPN.
Tailscale was the VPN application suite recommended to me by someone else and I'm happy to recommend it to you all here.

Boom networking issue - connect remotely?
I have a curious problem with one of my Booms - it cannot see the server. It can see the internet, MySB etc, and the other SBs can see the server, but this one cannot. It has never been able to wirelessly - previously I had it wired.

Connecting Squeezeplay to Remote Server
Was using Softsqueeze to play music from my home Squeezebox server when I traveled.
Softsqueeze is no longer available and I installed Squeezeplay last night.
It works fine in my house where it can find the server, but what do I do at remote locations? I don't see anyplace... -
remote access to SBS 7.4.2?
Is anyone able to access SBS 7.4.2 from outside the local network using either Softsqueeze or Squeezeplay? I used to be able to use Softsqueeze with some success prior to the move to 7.4. I suspect I may be having a firewall issue - but before I make myself crazy trying to isolate it, I'd love to hear...
