White noise FLAC issue

Recently, I added some FLAC files to my LMS but when I try to play hem, all I get is white noise.

The files play as expected on my windows PC.

Footnote: A few weeks ago I migrated my picoreplayer from a Raspberry Pi 3b+ to a 4Gb Raspberry Pi 4 which has been running flawlessly...

FLAC requires more processing on the server but less bandwidth. If one
of these is an issue you can optimize. If it just works, don't bother.

I'm trying to play high resolution 192/24 FLACs via LMS 8.1.2 on a Pi4 to two wired SB3s. Playback breaks up every couple of minutes. Why is this? I am happy for it to just transcode to 48/16 by simply discarding the extra information.

For the first time I encountered that some disks are encoded as a single FLAC file (or APE, but FLAC in my problematic case) and a according CUE file.

My LMS can find those large FLAC files in the "browse folder" section and I can play them by playing the CUE file.
