piCorePlayer determines the player tabs by asking LMS what players it recognises. This is done via squeezelite.

So if piCorePlayer can't communicate with LMS no tabs will be displayed.

I have only had 1 or 2 corrupt SD cards in 10 years so I don't have any real advice.

The one I can remember was on a piCorePlayer that I turned on and off at the power point for years to see what would happen. As it only happened once I can't conclude what this issue was.

I am wondering if # pcp power ? gives you the same information as status.sh?

There is # pcp mode which gives result play, stop or pause. May be useful if you want to dim after someone pauses a track for a few minutes.

What is the time on your pCP LMS server?

If your pCP LMS server is losing time, did you set NTPD to be on?

A few years ago we started using a static footer that is created during the boot process (to speed up the Web GUI). It did create a few issues, like no date/time display and the problem you describe.
