Connecting to Pi via IP address

I was able to connect about a dozen times before albeit after fiddling with Ethernet position, rebooting. It would suddenly show up in Chrome page and I have no idea how. But it was frustrating.

I just started fro scratch, again, and am so frustrated I need help. I burn PiCorePlayer to SS card. Connect pi to modem via Ethernet. Scan using Advanced IP Scanner. I see Raspberry, 10.0.0.52 on my setup.

And I realize setting on mysqueezebox has nothing to do with reloading software on pi - at least it shouldn’t.

It didn’t that time. I’ve started from scratch and this time it seemed to work.

now my problem is I can’t connect SB Touch to pCP. It will connect to laoptip LMS but not pCP.

im about ready to through it out the window 🤬...

Spoke too soon. Now I can only play Tidal. Won't recognize library on USB Hard Drive. Says it's not configured....

Up and running. I even got Tidal to work which was big problem. I think setting players to synchronize on mysqueezebox.com made the difference but not sure.

Just did a fresh install of PCP 32bit. Connected Pi via ethernet to router and scanned IP addresses with my laptop. Raspberry Pi shows up as 10.0.0.70 but I can't connect. Any advice? Did a reboot and changed ethernet outlets on router. Still shows 10.0.0.70 and can't connect....

I'm trying once again to do a complete reinstall of PiCorePlayer to my Pi 4. I use a USB hard drive attached to Pi for my lossless library of ALAC. Pi is ethernet connected to my router and I stream using SB Touch. I want to be able to play my library files and Tidal.

interesting finding. I synchronize my Touch and PiCorePlayer (on Raspberry running LMS). On iPend it shows both on multiplayer control and when I play Tidal it works. Have laptop LMS turned off.

Did that and still no Tidal. It shows up on iPeng. I can search Tidal and see my playlists. The tracks will appear to play then restart with no sound through system. Tidal does work through my laptop LMS....

I’ve got the playlist issue resolved. Can not get Tidal to work. Everything working fine connecting to my laptop running LMS. So I think I’ll just stay with that for now.

Also have problem with playlists. I think I may not have pointed my Squeezebox to correct folder. How can I get back to that selection?

better yet is there a way to turn off my Squeezebox?

Now I can’t get Tidal to work. Works when SB connected to laptop LMS but not PiCore.

One more problem. Having trouble mounting USB Disk. My HDD is listed. I check enable box but it requires Mount Point. How do I determine that?

Ok I stumbled my way to getting PiCorePlayer LMS up and running! I set static IP. Scanning attached USB HDD now. Thank you all for your help!!!
