To use Potpourri, you need to save a playlist first....

Save a new playlist first -> Call Potpourri for sorting -> Save again with a name that I won't forget later

This is way too much work for sorting an album. If there is no easy way, that is fine....

I used to use foobar2000 where sorting is just one click away literally. Therefore, I thought sorting would be a basic function for all music players. If no one thinks sorting important, I will just use it as it is for now....

No. Some albums come with non chronicle order tracks when issued. When you rip the CD's, the tracks are not in order....

Somehow I feel dragging is more complex than sorting in coding. Yet I am just a stupid user and I appreciate all developers' hard work....

There are some classical music albums in which the works are not in chronicle order. For example, track 1 concerto no.2, track 2 concerto no.4, track 3 concerto no.1, track 4 concerto no.3........

It's not what I really want for sorting. I would like to sort the current queue playlist, not saved playlists. When I play an album, I don't make a playlist first. BTW, I tried Potpourri and it's buggy. Every time I used it to sort a playlist, the server showed Fail message although it did the ...

Currently there is no such function in LMS and I'd like to request for it. For those coding gurus, please help develop plugins to sort playlist by name, title, track, date, year, artist.... Thank you very much in advance.

If the track artists are different even slightly in your compilation album and you do not define "ALBUMARTIST" or "ALBUM ARTIST", LMS shows "Various Artists" for this album.

I have been running LMS on Synology DS220+ for over a year with Squeezelite player on RPi 3B+. It's been fast and very stable.
