I had a similar situation when I had a Wi-Fi extender switched on inadvertently causing pCP to reconnect with different IP addresses. Disabling that id the trick for me.

I'm sure no one else would make the rookie error I did and buy a device with Airplay 2 connectivity. Airplay 2 doesn't work with the Airplay plugin.
