The web interface of shacky73's router can most probably be accessed via http://10.0.0.1...

It may be an attempt of mherger to display a non-cropped logo when linking to a post in another thread......

My personal preference would indeed be that just the raw link is displayed. In my opinion the addition of the icon, the thread title and the first sentence(s) of the other thread has no added value and is a waste of space. It makes posts with links to posts in other threads unnecessary big in terms...

OK, here are three attempts to get a more compact link to a post in another thread:
1) Using (code)(/code) with square brackets:
Code:https://forums.slimdevices.com/forum/user-forums/logitech-media-server/1627865-bluetooth-in?p=1627934#post1627934

Maybe this has been answered before, but I can't find the answer:
With the new forum, is there a way to provide a link to a specific post in another thread, without getting a picture of half of the Logitech logo, together with thread title and first sentence of opening post in that thread?...

I think that what you want will not work when using piCorePlayer as Bluetooth receiver, since with pCP you would first need to pair with a bluetooth device, and then set the bluetooth type of that device to streamer. So you would need to pair and configure every individual bluetooth device of your guests....

Since I have bookmarked the IP address of the player, I can only say for sure that I lose access to the numerical IP address.
Are you suggesting that for some reason the router changes the IP address of the player? Next time that this problem occurs I can do a network scan to check if the IP address...Last edited by CJS; 2023-01-24, 17:17.

Access to pCP web interface regularly lost
Just want to let people know about an issue that I encounter on a regular basis:
I am running piCorePlayer 8.2.0 on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. This is a player only configuration (LMS is running an a local server with Linux Mint OS)....

Just for information, I do NOT have a slow search problem with LMS default skin.
I use the latest LMS 8.3.1 version running on Linux Mint 20.3 (64bit) , installed on a server with Intel ATOM dual core CPU. Full details below.
Logitech Media Server Version: 8.3.1 - 1674060640 @ Wed...

4lex, you have asked this before on christmas day 2020. And this was my reply:
You replied that it worked, so I suggest that you repeat the procedure...

I assume that you are talking about a Rasberry Pi running pCP? I have no hands-on experience with adding a screen to a Pi, but did you follow these instructions?
Also, if you want help it would help to add information about RPi model, exact screen type, which pCp version, etc.Last edited by CJS; 2023-01-20, 21:19.

There are some howto guides under https://docs.picoreplayer.org/projects/
If you want to build a player with touchscreen that does not run LMS, an Rpi 3B+ has more than enough computing power.
In a nutshell you would need to install pCp 8.2.0 on the Pi, and make it work with your USB...

In this thread it is suggested that TZ should be set as an environment variable. I do not fully understand, but maybe it helps you.

Apart from the devices mentioned in the two posts above, there are the Polyvection DAC32 with analog output on cinch connectors, and the Polyvection DIGI32 with SPDIF output.
These streamers are distributed by "Audiostore" from the UK:

Additional info: For flashing firmware I have used the Espressif ESP32 download tool on a Windows PC. For more info see following post:
