Michael's suggestion seems like a reasonable compromise. What about moving Network Time Protocol (NTP) to the LMS page and making NTP operation as the default when LMS is utilized? The rational would be that if a person is using LMS on a Pi, then a more recent Pi version with more memory is being...

When the Network Time Protocol (ntp) feature was added to pCP, I turned it on, so I should not have any time drift. I could not find a display of the time on the pCP, so I looked at the Touch display. I compared the Touch's time to the time on my router (getting time from pool.ntp.org) and they appear...

In my case, pCP only gets restarted for a software version update or if the power goes out. pCP could run for many months before a restart.
LMS is restarted more often for material skin or radio now playing updates....

I claim to be no expert in audio recording or being a professional musician. Now that is out of the way, below is my perspective of the CD format.
I brought a CD player in the mid-1980s and there was a local independent record store that sold mostly CDs so there was plenty of content for...

I don't know how I missed seeing that setting to specify the streaming port. Thanks for the screen shot....

I figured out the problem and found the solution.
After rebooting all devices and verifying three times that url in SWYH and LMS are identical, I begin to look a windows firewall or network settings that was the problem.
I noticed that the wifi connection to my home wifi was...

I am trying to use Stream What You Hear (SWYH) to get music from Freegal or Hoopla to LMS so I can listen to it on the SB system. I used SWYH about a year ago, and it worked. Now I cannot get to work. I have verified that that the stream address listed under tools is the same address url in LMS. I press...

I ran the Tiny LMS and used a hard drive with its own power supply plugged into the Touch. It worked, but it would often crash randomly. I agree with Jim and Kidstypike, it is not worth the frustration; just don't do it. Run LMS on another computer. I went with piCoreplayer and I am much happier....

CJS,
You are correct. That is what happened. I forgot about the Player, player/server, and beta options.
Thanks!

I want to create a backup image of the SD card which recommends using the "Stop LMS" on the LMS page. However, I cannot find the "Stop LMS" button anymore on the LMS page.
Here is the info on the version I am running:
piCorePlayer | piCorePlayer v8.2.0 | www v00017...

It appears you your problem, so that is good. However, when you said "SB Touch with USB hard drive", I assumed you plugged the USB drive into the Touch. That will cause you nothing but problems because the power supply is insufficient to power a USB hard drive. If the USB hard drive is...

In LMS select Settings>Information. Look for Library Statistics. Does it make sense for number the artists, albums, tracks? If not, In LMS, double check scanned folder settings.
Select Settings>Basic Settings and look for Media Folders. Make sure it is pointing to the correct folders....

If your wifi router is AX capable, then see if you can turn off the AX (wifi6) in the 2.4ghz band. That should reduce the interference problem because of the close proximity between the SB Radio and router. I was able to turn off AX feature on my ASUS router. If that AX SSID is from someone else's...

I was using XP on an old computer until some new programs would not install. In addition, the security was outdated. I got at least ten years out of that Dell desktop machine. Two years ago, I replaced the computer with one running Windows 10. I should be embarrassed.
As for a standalone...

I have had my Radio show the Blue Icon, but I cannot get it to reconnect to LMS running on pCP. Trying repair network does not fix it. Only a reboot of the Radio restores the function.
Perhaps the Radio's wifi is in some incomplete confused state of connection, but non-functional. This is...

A google search did indicate that xfinity does use ip address in the 10.0.0.1 format. https://www.xfinity.com/support/arti...-wifi-password
On what device are you running Advanced IP Scanner? Is it the same laptop/computer that is running LMS?
Assuming a windows...

wlanpoke helps resolve the wifi6 (ax) interference problem with the SB Radios that causea them to drop from the Wifi network. The interference can be caused by your router using the Wifi6 AX protocal on the 2.4 GHz band or even when a neighbor's router is using wifi6. A symptom is the Radio will disconnect...
