LastMix or LMS?

My files reside on a NAS with 4 HD disks in Raid 5 and I do not experience any issue with audio - even long files. LMS connects via NFS.
The same NAS holds my ripped DVDs but I use a different device for my Plex server. If there is any kind of transcoding going on then I think a Pi any version...

You might hate me for saying this but have you thought about Replay Gain tags? Great to have but really needs to be across the board. Fortunately it’s not difficult to add them in bulk even with a large collection. I used Foobar2000 to do it....

The plugin was installed (it is by default isn't it?. The service was enabled at mySB.com but the account in use had long since expired.
For some reason LastMix decided to add a Tidal track when it hadn't done so for years and it coincided with an upgrade. Not worth worrying about....

Exactly what I do as well.

Like you I run two systems (but only 5 miles apart) and synchronise files between them via site to site VPN. The secret to making favourites and playlists work on both is it to mount the storage (QNAP in my case) in an identical manner although they don't both...

LastMix pulled another 5 Tidal tracks but I’ve now restarted LMS and it appears to have fixed the issue. I didn’t have an active Tidal subscription but there was an account set up in mySB.com that I’ve not used for years.

I’ve just checked mySB.com - it was installed but not in use. I’ve just uninstalled it.

I used LastMix extensively over the weekend with no such issue though.

Yes. Discogs/Music Brainz will show you multiple different versions and you choose the one you want. Same with the cover....

It looks up to Discogs & Music Brainz for the correctly timed tracks and then writes track title etc to FLAC or whatever when you get to that stage. Gets album art from same sources. All you generally have to do is move track end markers a little. It produces exactly the same as you can achieve...
