No it wouldn’t unless the rest of the network can’t see it and particularly the Docker instance.
it is as both you and Michael suggest not something that should be even contemplated if you don’t know Jack sh!t about Linux...

Have you tried mp3tag and set it to not alter the file date/time stamp. Doing this will stop LMS from seeing any change on a normal scan. I think that tracks will still play ok as long as the file name is unaltered but you would see no change in LMS.
Only when you do a clear & rescan...

That's not a like for like comparison.
I think I am correct in saying that where no COMPILATION tag exists LMS will treat an Album as a compilation IF it contains tracks by more than one artist i.e. it works off the TRACKARTIST tags.
Are you sure that Album 1 in your example...Last edited by d6jg; Yesterday, 17:08.

philippe_44 I see that you have released 2.1.12.1 as the live version.
I'm still at 2.1.11 and my WiiM Mini is working correctly in virtually default settings however people are reporting that it is not working correctly with 2.1.12.1 - particularly gapless. How can I assist you in comparing...

On the OP. I don’t think there is currently any go to hardware. Until the shortage it was the Pi.

It could easily be the volume setting at the ADC stage. As you know I use VinylStudio which has a setting for digital in to effectively set the volume at optimum level. There is no such option in Audacity that I’m aware of where the recording level is manually set...

I too have a copy that I bought in 79 and I have also redigitised it. At the time I didn’t know it had been recorded digitally. I probably didn’t know until I had recorded it to FLAC and read up on it.
