No the bridge is still seeing the Edifier because its on the same subnet running on a Pi, so its using the Pi ipaddress. The mac is now using the WIFI only.
The Mac was showing up (i think), because both wifi and ethernet were active and because of that finds the Mac as an airplay device but its...

I maybe found whats causing this.
My Mac had two interfaces active. Ethernet and WiFi.
Airplay (audio) only works when Wifi is active?
I disabled the Ethrnet interface. Now the Mac does not show up anymore because its not advertising to the ethernet...Last edited by Hellsblade; 2023-03-16, 09:35.Leave a comment:

Hi Philippe, thanks for the quick reply.
Not when I press the play button, but when I press the next song button the bridge crashes and restarts.
I see it detects a windows agent? and the 403 error.

Hi, I like the idea of this bridge and got it working on my pi4 in docker after changing to network host mode. Now I can use my Edifier SW1000 (which is airplay compatible).
