I have a PCP on a RPI2 with a Hifiberry Dac. Some days ago, it just stopped working. I don't know why. It is no longer displayed in the list of devices in my network, it is no longer listed by LMS. I have tried to look into the files on the sdcard but I could not find anything informative....

Oh oh, thanks for pointing this out It just shows how little I know about Hi-Fi... Now I am having second thoughts on the upgrade of the RPI.
But I still could use a Digi and connect this to the coax input of the speakers?...

I don't really seem to understand. You have one soundcard connected to anther soundcard? Ir am I just not audiophil enough?

So you just use the line out/cinch connection to your amplifier and it sounds good enough?...

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 2GB which currently is a server only.
However I thought about using it as a player too and upgrade the RPI with a soundcard, like a Hifiberry Digi.
I am in the process of buying some smaller speakers (these) and I wonder whether I could connect a Hifiberry...
