I use two purely because I switch my player between pCP and Squeezelite on Raspbian occasionally. Player is Pi3B into a USB DAC so clearly has very poor sound 😀...

Yes USB is shared with ethernet. Does using WiFi avoid that "issue"? Presumably he was also including the Pi4 in that general opinion. Maybe the DACs that meet his golden eared standards are very susceptible to noise 🤣...

In that video he also says that using a USB DAC with a Pi leads to very poor sound quality due to the polluted USB signal. I am pretty sure many here would disagree....

This is a strange one. I played Nursery Cryme from the beginning on a Radio and this is what appeared in WWTT

So after 20 minutes WWTT registers a track change to the second track when the fourth track starts. Even more strange the Radio display...

Pretty sure it is that setting. I just tried changing it to "Do not defeat" and Orange Squeeze doesn't ask me to choose anymore....

Probably because Material skin is a plugin for LMS and the Tiny LMS on the Touch does not support any plugins. Your would be much better off running LMS on your laptop....

My WD 3.5 inch external drive sleeps after a time determined by hd-idle on a Pi. I chose 5 minutes but it wouldn't sleep at all without hd-idle. Another 2.5 inch portable WD drive seems to sleep after around 40 seconds on Windows....

As an alternative to a full rescan you could remove one of the affected albums and do a "new and changed" scan. Then replace the album and do another "new and changed" scan....

Now I have tried the 70% zoom and small font I have gone back to regular font keeping the 70% zoom. Although I preferred the text size of the small font I got the impression that the gap between menu items was too big. Losing the player icon/power button doesn't bother me as I wasn't using the power...

I find the light blue text on grey hard to read, I thought it was just me 😀...

There is an LMS Player setting "Defeat destructive touch to play" in basic player settings. If it is set to ask before playing then that might be the reason.
