Probably because Material skin is a plugin for LMS and the Tiny LMS on the Touch does not support any plugins. Your would be much better off running LMS on your laptop....

My WD 3.5 inch external drive sleeps after a time determined by hd-idle on a Pi. I chose 5 minutes but it wouldn't sleep at all without hd-idle. Another 2.5 inch portable WD drive seems to sleep after around 40 seconds on Windows....

As an alternative to a full rescan you could remove one of the affected albums and do a "new and changed" scan. Then replace the album and do another "new and changed" scan....

Now I have tried the 70% zoom and small font I have gone back to regular font keeping the 70% zoom. Although I preferred the text size of the small font I got the impression that the gap between menu items was too big. Losing the player icon/power button doesn't bother me as I wasn't using the power...

I find the light blue text on grey hard to read, I thought it was just me 😀...

There is an LMS Player setting "Defeat destructive touch to play" in basic player settings. If it is set to ask before playing then that might be the reason.

Yup, I think I need to play more with Picard. I did indeed find the correct vinyl version by manually searching although it wasn't found automatically. The next one will be a better test without any previous metadata in the tags....

Does it work well when the Vinyl has a different track listing to the CD? I just tried Musicbrainz Picard and it insists a track is missing....

My 3TB 3.5" external HDD has its own power supply so I assumed most others also did so again there is no issue when attached to a Pi....

Thanks. I think I might have been doing it correctly but it seems to take a while for the bookmarks to appear on the app.
One clunky way to remove items in "Continue listening" is to open them and drag the progress bar to the end 😀...

How does Vinyl Studio add track labels? I have just discovered a "Label Sound" function in Audacity which can automatically add labels before tracks but you still need to manually add the track names....

Presumably if you powered the mini router or repeater using a 5V USB powerpack you could maintain portability....

You can turn off "Technical info" in interface settings but the time still appears on the second line so you don't save any screen area....
