The ssh v5.3p1 binary included in Ubuntu 10.4 finally stopped working with github on my build environment, so I've rebuilt all these tools with more recent versions.

I've uploaded 20230114-updated-utilities-i386.tar.gz to my sourceforge site.

The file contains curl-7.87.0,...

It's only available from the extras menu on the player, not the webadmin.

You should have v1.5 if you've added the URL to my repository.

The radio, touch and controller reset/reboot/crash every 24 days. It's a know issue and discussed at length in various threads on the forum, unfortunately there's no simple fix.

Calling home is baked into the firmware it's not something that was added to the community firmware....

Post #44 of this thread explains how to determine which flirc you have and the commands necessary to use the flirc with squeezelite directly. No jivelite required.

Try it out. If you get stuck ask here and someone will be happy to help.

No the commands required to enable swap are not available.
Even if they were you'd risk quickly destroying the flash memory with the constant writes....

If you can fix the issue with the radio failing to connect to mysqueezebox.com that could alleviate the out of memory issue.

{mysqueezebox.com}: _handshake error: connection refused

These messages are not normal and squeezeplay is spinning trying to connect every 4-5 seconds....

This feature still works for me using picoreplayer 8.2.

You do need to Install LIRC for Squeezelite.

The option is available on the Tweaks page scroll down to IR remote control and click the IR Page button then click the Install button for LIRC...

A new build SqueezePlay-setup-8.0.1r1420.exe for windows is available.

Fixes the premature ending of tracks.
Connects via discovery to a user supplied remote library/server defined using the choose music source applet.
