LMS 8.0.0 on Synology 216II not scanning new music - database is locked

I managed to stop my existing LMS, and install LMS ("latest") using docker following the easy step by step instructions in the following post (scroll down).

I have a Synology 216II running LMS 8.0.0 which is unable to scan for new music.
I can still listen on my devices but can't add any new music to my library.

I hope someone can advise me how to get this working again.
