Okay, bit of a challenge. The knob is identical to the one from the Squeezebox Boom so there might be sources for that, however, the smaller one will be hard to find. There's an eBay seller here in Germany, a fine guy, who sells 3D printed replacements for the notorious Squeezebox parts. Here's a link...You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. Activate the SSH port. For this you need to adjust some parameter in the SD card file system (for headless SSH activation) or connect the Pi to a monitor and keyboard to start the raspi-config tool in a shell where you can set up SSH.

Hi there,
the SBR is known for blowing components corresponding to the battery and DC-IN power management. It's Q3 typically if I remember correctly. Something in the design causes the circuitry to fail, often catastrophically.
The Wi-Fi dropping might be a related issue, or is another...

Well here's a video of somebody opening theirs. Actually he is not doing it quite right until 05:15. The key to removing the shiny front panel, after removing the two Torx screws that hold it, is moving it entirely to the left with some gentle force, and then it can be pulled out. Don't spudger around...

Really a Radio or is it a Boom? in the Radio the power jack is a separate piece that connects to the main PCB via a short wire pair. These connectors can be purchased separately, you just need to reattach the wires and take care of the polarity....

aere's another method for cleaning any of the parts that have the sticky coating (SB Touch remote, Radio knob, Boom front panel, button mat, knob):
