RIP - Ray Conrad
Ray was a dear family friend who passed this morning. He was in his mid 90's and lived a full life. He wrote and performed several funny skiing songs back in the 60's. For those of you that ski I think you'll get a kick out of this song.
And this one is...Last edited by w3wilkes; 2023-01-22, 19:09.

RIP - David Crosby
A great loss to the music world. Founding member of the Byrds w/Roger (Jim) Mcguinn and then again with CSN and CSNY. A sad day for sure.

I see M2 SSD ENCLOSURES for cheap like you say, but the actual M.2 SSD to put in the enclosure is a wee bit more expensive. Are you sure you're talking about a 1TB M.2 SSD?...

on my Windows box my music lives in

On my phone my music lives in
SDCard/Music/<Album Artist>/<Album>/<Track>

I guess I don't know what you mean by extraneous part of the path. My relative paths on my PC and phone are identical. But just FYI I use Poweramp on my phone.
Only IBM corporate was hateful of Windows and initially banned it internally. The story was IBM co-developed OS2 with Microsoft...

You previously mentioned using Notepad++ which I also find to be a great tool for some things. But being an old retired IBM mainframe type person I use a free editing application on Windows called SPFLite2 which works just like ISPF on the mainframe. Using this editor I can change a playlist with hundreds,...

In both your examples it looks like you have what I call explicit track location playlists. I didn't think LMS cared about which way the slashes go, I thought it would work either way.
In LMS I specify my root Music folder as also the playlist folder so in my case I change LMS generated...Last edited by w3wilkes; 2023-01-07, 18:15.

Erlands Old SQLPlaylist pluggin Users
I used SQLPlaylists to generate playlists from random songs with selected genres. I also wanted to restrict these to a given BPM which SQLPlaylists didn't support so I had to edit the SQL and add the statements to select chosen BPM's or ranges. I've added the BPM tag to all my music using tuneXplor...

What does a playlist look like that's generated using JRMC export? Give a short example of the exported playlist and then what it looks like after you massage it. Maybe helpful to see both.

Back in the late 80's after trying a few carts I finally settled on Ortofon and have never looked back.

All the posts in the Boom Channel show read for me too. The issue is in the main view of all channels (general discussion, squeezebox radio, squeezebox touch, squeezebox boom, etc) shows that I have unread posts in the Boom Channel. In the image note that General discussion and Duet show grey icons...

At what bitrate is your MP3? If high like VBR -V0 -q0 or CBR 320 you should rerip to FLAC and then do a double blind comparison per Archimago comparison blog posts, especially from a vinyl needle drop rip....
