I had assumed from your post that you did not have it turned on. If it is on then you should not notice any drift.
i think Touch gets the time itself - and not from LMS.
I think the time being displayed on non-Jive native SB players comes from LMS.

Ok - I have Home Team FM playing in the background now and so far the track changes have happened without incident (3rd track just started).
it is playing in a Joggler running SqueezePlay os that might be triggering things.

Anyway ... you could turn on logging (Settings/Advanced/Logging/plugin.radionowplaying/debug)...

Fixed for next build.
Klassik Radio urls for the station icons had changed ... and it is the station icon URL that they put in their data as cover art ... and I check to see if the cover art URL is the same as the station as a way to determine that CoverSearch is needed.

Assuming you do not have any of the other measures in place to sync things (e.g. a script run by cron) it would be interesting to see if your RPi clock is drifting at all....

Which country are you in?
If UK then that probably explains it (TuneIn had a dispute with UK record labels with result that they do not show non-UK stations to UK listeners).

Try via RadioNet plugin (which ever country you are in).

With a clock drift of a second or so per day you would have to keep the RPi running non-stop for a long time before it started to have an effect and even then it would only be in specific use cases.
My guess is that the pCP core team restart their LMS systems a bit more than many regular end-...

LMS needs to be able to see the folders/files ... so you have to mount the storage system.
Are the folders available via NFS or SMB?
