You are correct that there should be a couple of extra "Save & Exit" commands - but I guess you did that.
I have never done this but the error implies that the basic function to detect the USB device being turned on did work - because udev tried to run the script.
Does "/home/tc/DAC.sh"...

That would make song info appear late into a track and stop early because ...
Imagine real time is now 12:00
L365 says current song starts at 12:00:00 and finishes at 12:03:00
Your RPi says it is now 12:01:03 ... so RNP displays the song and shows it being 1/3 through already

Is the time on your LMS machine accurate (within a couple of seconds)?

I have never seen a SqueezePlay without VU meters.
Where did you find yours?

- Update Cesky rozhlas - thanks again to mipa87
- Disable usage of Live365 song start and end times (as an experiment for now)

L365 provides start time and end time for each track. RNP compares it against the time on the LMS server. So one thing to check is that the time on the LMS server is accurate.
In the next build (in a few minutes) I have disabled using the L365 times.
So you will not have a progress...

The VU meters require a local (same machine as Jivelite) player.
You could install Squeezelite on the Jivelite system or replace Jivelite with SqueezePlay. Then sync to the player that will really be playing the music that you are listening to.

Live365 provides a start time for each track - so I use that. If it is in the future then I don’t tell LMS about it until the next poll (every 2” seconds) after that time.
When things go wrong - can you check to see what L365 web interface is showing?
in any case, the next build...

I just tried Live365 AcidHill when I saw your message.
I was not seeing song info in LMS via RNP but that was because they were playing Hawkwind - Spirit Of The Age and I tuned in near the end .... and I have set a maximum song time on 5 minutes (for Live365 sources - and is 10 in next build ......Last edited by Paul Webster; 2023-02-04, 23:17.

Beta 0.0.33f - 2023/02/04
I thought that the 33e change might cause a few issues where I had looked for the end of a line in a multi-line reponse ... and it did.
There were a handful that it affected - for example Insanity Radio.
So I have been through them and replaced the...

SmoothJazz should work again.
Problem was to do with multiline regex matching.
I made a change to make things a bit safer when matching but it had side-effects.
I have now changed the regex match back to /s (was /m for a while) which will make...Last edited by Paul Webster; 2023-02-04, 20:42.

If you are using RNP Beta ... then ... yes ... this is a bug that I think I introduced in 0.0.33c
It affects some stations that do not provide a start time for tracks.
It is already resolved for the next build....

I saw it too and I expect something has changed in their station data that came with the update and it has resulted on an error when importing it.
I'll make a new beta soon and will resolve it....
