Which country are you in?
If UK then that probably explains it (TuneIn had a dispute with UK record labels with result that they do not show non-UK stations to UK listeners).

Try via RadioNet plugin (which ever country you are in).

With a clock drift of a second or so per day you would have to keep the RPi running non-stop for a long time before it started to have an effect and even then it would only be in specific use cases.
My guess is that the pCP core team restart their LMS systems a bit more than many regular end-...

LMS needs to be able to see the folders/files ... so you have to mount the storage system.

that will gives you thousands of stations
if you also add my Radio Now Playing you might get cover art for quite a few stations (all Live365 plus around 1700 others)

A hack ... if MAI recognised a terminator (e.g. " | " - space vertical-bar space) to flag the end of the album name when there is extra info following ... then it could be OK.

Try running your script from the command line to see what, if any errors it gives.
If you can't see any and it does not start Squeezelite then paste the script in here inside (code) tags.

They are working on the song info for their Jazz station ... problem is what they are showing is not what I am hearing.
It is a start though.

I think it would work - but there are some traps.

pCP has "sleep" so that part should be fine - and I assume that @reboot is the correct syntax and is in the pCP cron.
But - watch out with shell scripts.
There is a, IMHO, horrible thing in shell script files where...

I think that LMS would see each change as a new song and so alll of the new song things would kick in ... e.g. scrobble, What Was That Tune

Unfortunately not.
Plugins don't tell the players/controllers which lines to display things on ... they just tell LMS that certain fields are available
e.g.
artist, title, album, track number, disk number
then LMS either sends the user configured display stuff SB1/2/3, Boom)...

You are correct that there should be a couple of extra "Save & Exit" commands - but I guess you did that.
I have never done this but the error implies that the basic function to detect the USB device being turned on did work - because udev tried to run the script.
Does "/home/tc/DAC.sh"...
