Which mastering do you use then? Brothers In Arms was re-released several times and later masterings were sometimes a victim of the infamous loudness wars. Btw: even for the first pressings of this album different mixes / masterings were done....Leave a comment:

Both are RPI2(!) end-point devices without LMS, running without big issues for more than 8 years now. As mentioned I can configure DAC+ Pro as a regular DAC+ (and it works...), I will test the other way around as well (out of curiousity)....Leave a comment:

I have succesfully upgraded my two Hifiberry systems to pcP9. One is a standard Hifiberry Dac+, the other is a Hifiberry Dac+ pro. In older versions of pcP both had the same audio device setting. If you use (local) Opus or OGG/Vorbis files then pcP 9.0.0 might be a consideration because it solves gapless playback issues with those formats which were present since pcP v6.
