Brain cramps did it. I had used my phone as a hot spot earlier in the day, and when I turned that off it disabled wifi on the phone. Turned it back on and all is well.

After the 8.5.1 update my squeezectrl does not connect. Tried restarting the LMS instance and the phone. It just times out saying that it can't find the server. It worked on Sunday before the update.
I have version 2.2.8 of Squeezectrl

I used to use the album Direct to Disk ( also known as Headroom in a later release ) by the band FM for speaker tests.
Helmet of Gnats S/T is also pretty good sounding. The SACD version is pretty spectacular.
Mogwai - Atomic is also pretty good

There was an issue last fall with Material Skin and artwork over a certain size that caused the scan to hang like that. I went in to Material Skin and limited the artwork scan to 600 ( removed higher res ) and it worked. But I thought it was fixed.

The perl modules for ssl might need an update, as well as the certificates. Though the certificate problem seemed to have more to do with squeezebox.com.
