Hi! I am running MacOS Ventura 13.4. I just updated my Logitech Media Server software to version 8.4.0. I am seeing "Background Items Added" notifications that "slimserver.pl" and "check-update.pl" are items that can run the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings". When I go to "General/Login Items" in the System Settings, I see that both of these items are allowed/enabled to run in the background, i.e. their switches are colored blue with their button moved to the right. How do I get these notifications to stop appearing? Are these items actually running in the background? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure why you'd get this repeatedly. But yes, they run in the background: slimserver.pl is LMS, the other the update checker.Michael
"It doesn't work - what shall I do?" - "Please check your server.log and/or scanner.log file!"
(LMS: Settings/Information) -
I see the notification for the check-update.pl file each time I start up my computer. I stopped seeing the notification for slimserver.pl a few days after my original post; I'm not sure how I got it to stop showing. It is just a little annoying to have to dismiss it each time, but if I can somehow get it configured properly, that would be great. Thank you for any help you can provide!Comment
