As a non-techie I remain confused after reading posts in this forum as to what I can do to receive BBC on my Logitech Touch after BBC switches off ShoutCast.
My questions are :
1) I gather that, after the switch-off, I will still be able to access Beeb radio on the Touch via BBC Sounds provided that I leave switched on my internet-connected PC which runs LMS and to which the Touch is networked. Is this correct ?
2) However, even if this is possible, it would still leave the menu structure very awkward to use. I frequently switch between other radio stations in addition to BBC (e.g. Classic FM and various French stations) which I have on my Favourites list. Although still not very elegant, it would be better if the entry to BBC Sounds could be located in the Favourites list. Is this possible and if so how ?
3) To avoid leaving my PC switched on I gather that I could connect the Touch to an internet-connected RPi which would be running Sounds (plus some version of LMS ?) If so, would that give me a better menu structure, or would it do no more than avoid leaving the PC switched on ?
Thank you for any advice
