    Alternatives to Apple-crap-Music for Squeezebox?

I cannot stand what Apple has done to iTunes. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

I want my music ON MY PHONE, not in the cloud. I fly for a living and want to access my music when I want to and when I don't have wifi. I have a TON of CDs and I want to manipulate them, not the cloud.

I also want to manage what's on my phone by connecting it to my Mac just like I used to. I've read a ton of reviews but none of them will touch on this. They just want to tell me about graphics and crap I don't want.

I want it to work WITH my Squeezebox. Apple Music and my SB seem to hate one another. I've had tons of connection issues over the last two years. Ten years ago they worked perfectly together.

I want it to have lossless format.

Am I smoking crack? Does something like this exist???

I simply copy the files onto the phone and use whatever music app you choose for playback. On Android I use BlackPlayer or USB Audio PLayer
PiCorePlayer 8.2 on Allo Digi One Signature (Lounge)
PiCorePlayer 8.2 with Hifiberry Digi+ Material running on PI for control (Office)
PiCorePlayer 8.2 with pi official touchscreen and Hifiberry DAC+(Kitchen)
    Radio (Bedroom)
PiCorePlayer 8.2 with Allo BOSS DAC (Bedroom)
PiCorePlayer 8.2 with Hifiberry AMP+. Squeezelite=x for control (Garage)
    PiCorePlayer 8.2 with Hifiberry AMP+(Patio 2)
    PiCorePlayer 8.2 with Hifiberry AMP+(Patio 2)

LMS 8.3 on unRaid 6.11.5 Server (Seneca HDS)

I use Folder Player, which does what it says on the tin. Useful especially for Classical Music, Audio Books / Drama, and for those of a general Folder mentality!

I use TuneFusion, by the maker of dbpoweramp (Illustrate) to sync selected music from my music files (which are connected to my Squeezebox system) to my iPhone. TuneFusion can automatically convert from lossless to any lossy codec when transferring. I used to keep a lossy mirror of my music files to transfer to my iPhone with itunes. But I no longer need to do this. I simply run foobar2000(mobile) on my iphone and transfer files with TuneFusion, converting my FLAC files on the fly to 192kbps mp3 files on my phone. And if one prefers to play the FLAC files on the iPhone, that works too, just don't turn on the lossy conversion function. And I have no need to use iTunes for anything anymore.
