Bluetooth issues with Alexa

Hi all
I'd like to Bluetooth music to an Echo Dot as a cheap standalone speaker. Only I can't get any sound through the Echo even though pcp says it is connected. What do I need to do to fix this - what settings do I need for squeezelite. I am using a pi 4 (4gb) with a 7 inch touchscreen and running it as a squeezelite & LMS device. I can Bluetooth to my headphones a treat but not the Echo. Any ideas to get me started?

Arghh, I called for help too soon - after faffing around most of the afternoon I've finally got sound through my Echo device. I don't know if I've done this correctly but it's working and I'll have another look at it tomorrow.
