I am refreshing this thread now because I have seen some Hardware products that support Amazon Music along with Spotify, etc. Did Amazon changed its policy concerning open API ?

I believe that there is an API for Amazon Music these days but it is primarily for Alexa development purposes. I think if you want to develop for public use you need certification.

At the moment Amazon do not have a Public API to allow access to their music services.

So very little to no chance of a 3rd party plugin for LMS.

I'd also be wary of any reverse engineered efforts for any platform as well, considering access to Amazon Music can be via Prime membership that means that the credentials to your Amazon account could be at risk - not something to take lightly.

I can find the Amazon CD Store on the Squeezebox official plugin but not the Amazon music app, is this only available on Android and IOS or is it possible to be added to the 3rd party plugins in the future?
