Can anyone tell me if my two Squeezebox radios and one Touch can now no longer play BBC at all? I received the message about the stream stopping a few times and all stations are now blank. I'm in the UK. Is there a way to set up BBC Sounds to work on them, or a a way to make them use the right stream? It'll be a disaster if not... they all work fine otherwise and would be costly to replace! I am competent with technology but do not know all the initials and jargon, so if you know how, please explain in simple steps... thanks.

You need to have a local instance of LogitechMediaServer (LMS) running on a computer and install the BBC Sounds Plugin.
Small board computers are popular due to their low power consumption which permits them to be left on 24/7 hrs
To begin, one can install LMS on one's current PC (Mac, Windows or Linux)

I no longer get BBC Radio 3 or 4 on my Squeezebox Radio but still receive BBC Radio 5 live and BBC World Service. I expect the World Service will remain available if it is to live up to its name.Comment

When I use the LMS RadioNet plugin to search for BBC stations, it still provides BBC streams that play without BBC Sounds plugin, for example: https://stream.live.vc.bbcmedia.co.uk/bbc_radio_two. But these are https streams, meaning that you need to run LMS to play these streams on your squeezebox players. And if you run LMS, it is a small and logical step to install the BBC Sounds plugin.| LMS 8.3.2 on Linux Mint 21.2 | Squeezebox Boom | RPi0W + pCP 8.2.0 + HiFiBerry DAC Zero | ESP Muse Luxe |Comment

I'm in Paris, France - I just switched a Radio from LMS (its usual route) to MySB.com, and all my BBC mp3 saved favorites (R3, R4, R4x) are happily playing this morning ......Gary Brown

The BBC stations should still play from the RadioFeeds app. Up until mid-June, anyway!
RadioFeeds UK & Ireland.. an up-to-date radio directory for your Squeezebox/Transporter/UE Smart Radio.. available from the mysqueezebox.com App Gallery.
Bonus: our RadioFeeds LMS plugin also lists AAC and the BBC's high-quality HLS streams on top of what's available in our MSB app.
Now with over 1000 registered users, it's available for Logitech Media Server (and Squeezebox Server, SqueezeCenter and SlimServer).

Thank you if you've tried to help. I've contacted one of you for further detail... but anyone any suggestions on why I don't have BBC Sounds anywhere as an option? Looked on LMS and the radio itself. Updated LMS today. I don't have anything anywhere called 'plugins'. The only 'settings' I have in LMS are account settings. This whole thing seems ridiculously complicated! Usually I can figure this stuff out eventually, but not this time!Comment

From the LMS web interface at h t t p ://yourlms:9000
(where yourlms is the IP address of you system that is running LMS or localhost if on same machine as your browser).
Bottom right of the web page is "Settings" (assuming you are using the "Default" web layout).
This brings up a tabbed display and one of the tabs is "Plugins"
There are a few alphabetically sorted lists of plugins there.
If you see "BBC Sounds" listed as a plugin in Active plugins - then you have it installed.
If you do not ... then look for it in the next list and install it.Paul Webster

I also vaguely remember that in this LMS Control Panel there is a button "Advanced Settings" or something similar, and that when you click this button the LMS web interface is opened in the default web browser. JoCool50, it is in this web interface that you have to click "Settings", and then you should see a web interface with various tabs, including a Plugins tab.| LMS 8.3.2 on Linux Mint 21.2 | Squeezebox Boom | RPi0W + pCP 8.2.0 + HiFiBerry DAC Zero | ESP Muse Luxe |Comment
