Thanks for your reply. I am inexperienced in this. What is the LMS web UI? If I try to add the URL to Squeezebox favorites, it will not add it.

Are using LMS aka SlimServer aka SqueezeboxServer aka ... (software that you have installed on a server at home) or are you just using mysqueezebox.com ?

If using only MySqueezebox then go to

https://mysqueezebox.com/settings/favorites

(will have to login first) and put the details in there.

If using LMS then you need to find the IP address of your server (it is in the menus of the player) and go to
http : // w.x.y.z:9000
where w.x.y.z is the IP address (or hostname).

Yep it won't playback a https stream from mysquezebox, just checked on my setup.

FYI - it won't play from here because Virgin Media (my broadband supplier) has decided that I need to be protected from radiolize.com

It "plays" in LMS but with no sound. The Web UI (default skin) reports it as 48kbps CBR AAC but "more info" reports it as MP3.

I can play it in Firefox on Virginmedia. Firefox reports it as Type audio/aac. As mentioned in my previous post LMS also reports it as aac but plays with no sound.

Maybe you do not have parental controls enabled on your VM link.
