one thing to check - if it is connected to mysb.com, LMS will not see it. The players can only connect to one server at a time.

You can log into www.mysqueezebox.com and look under "players", find your players and see if the status is "connected" (edit: you may see your players listed, but they are only connected if the status is "connected". That is, if a player was ever connected to mysb.com, they will be listed until you delete them)

But the easiest way is to select "my music" from the player. This will connect the player to LMS. If this fails, then the issue is truly a player->LMS connection issue.

The one thing that confuses me about your post is "total players recognized: 5". I don't know if this is the players currently connected, or just players it sees"

I have seen some odd problems as well where the changes made on the remote are not reflected on the duet when it comes to LMS vs MySB. I wonder whether you can select it in the advanced LMS web page and change it via that?

are you sure it is connected to the same subnet. For example, your local network may be 192.168.1.1, but it may be connected to 192.168.0.1. Or you've connected it to the guest network of your local setup rather than your regular network. Also, what happens on this unit when you use the controller to go to "my music". At that point it should try to connect to any local LMS. Does it give you a message. Can you scroll down on that screen on the controller and see your rPi LMS?

  • Receiver will not connect to Local library but will to Squeezebox.com

I have 4 Recievers. One did not connect recently so I reset it and configured it using the controller. Trying both ethernet and wifi.

Finally I got it working but only on squeezebox.com library. It will not connect to the local library (picoreplayer). However it will tun off using the controller. However it is not visible using The web interface of the media server. So it clearly has connected to the network but will not connect to the library. The firmware is 77 and I am running LMS v 8.1.1. Really pulling out my hair. Anyone got any ideas?

    Logitech Media Server Version: 8.1.1 - 1610364019 @ Thu Jan 14 06:27:45 CET 2021
