Ordered Monday late afternoon from eBuyer having selected free delivery option.

    Arrived mid morning Wednesday.

    Can't complain at that.

The Boom seems to be a very nicely designed and constructed box - high volume production engineering at its best.

Installed without a problem. Still coming to terms with the differences in operation compared to SB3. I will reserve futher comment till later and post on more appropriate threads.

£150 was a good deal. If anyone is hesitating about the supplier, don't. I have used them a number of times for computer parts. Always a fast service.

I am waiting for the £130 SB3 supply to come in here

    and I might have a second SB3.

When I retire to Cyprus I will not be taking steam radios - they won't get the English Stations I want! BFBS is not my style!!

And I was annoyed yesterday because I thought I had missed the £150 boat!

The Amazon offer was there Monday morning but not in the afternoon. Their stock levels must have fallen to some pre-determined level to put the price back up.

But I am surprised. Amazon are normally fast.

I just don't know how prices are going to move - the financial crisis should depress them, but the dollar/pound rate inflate them.

The Boom display is smaller than the Classic so you won't get them identical. I am close with mine.

              Title format: Both TRACKNUM. TITLE
Now playing info: Classic Small VU and Elapsed Time, Boom Progress Bar
              Screensaver when stopped: Both None
Screensaver when off: Both Date and Time
              Time Format: Both SqueezeCenter Default
              Date: SqueezeCenter Default

For the date on the Classic, I have day, month, date, year on the first line and time on the second. To get the same on the Boom, the only way I could figure it out was to use the Size button on the Classic remote to cycle to the same setting.
