Various Artists or Diverse Interpreten

Hi,

i'm tagging my Compilation Albums with the COMPILATION=1 and ALBUMARTIST=Various Artists Tags
Now with only one Album i get an localized (german) value "Diverse Interpreten" instead of the "Various Artists" tag shown in Material web. There is NO localized Tag like Country etc. within those localized files. I've already retagged and everything, but i still get this unwanted "Diverse Interpreten". How do i get rid of it?

Which tool do you use to tag your files? I would say that there is still at least one file with a different tag than the others.

Something similar happened to me and I had to use a tool that shows all tags like kid3 to remove the wrong tag.

..using mp3tag, theres a extended tag menu, where everything is shown. Already deleted everything there and retagged everything. If there are better tag tools which are showing more than mp3tag, i can check again....

You don't have ID3v2 & ID3v1 tags for this album? If yes, remove the ID3v1 tags.

Is "Diverse Interpreten" the text that LMS uses to identify an album that it determines is a compilation?

thank you both, both screenshots helped. Even though i haven't entered anything in the "behaviour" field of material, not ALL Compilations switched to "Diverse Interpreten", but only one.
But after intentionally entering "Varous Artists" there, and a full rescan, the album no longer shows up with "Diverse Interpreten".

The settings in mp3tag were also not exactly like those in the screenshot, so i've modified them and applied them to the album.
So both perhaps helped at the end.
