FLAC Support over mysqueezebox.com?
Hello,
I'm using a Squeezebox Touch and a Deezer Hifi Account which I access using mysqueezebox.com as server. I do not have an own LMS instance anymore.
My Deezer HiFi subscription usually is working fine, expect that it never worked on my Squeezebox. As the Deezer Plugin got recently updated to support Hifi I would love to listen to Hifi music using my Touch. Unfortunately this feature is not working for me. I wonder, could this be due to a missing Deezer Plugin Update on the mysqueezebox.com server? I tried to figure out which LMS version it runs but the information is now shown or I cannot find it.
Does anyone know how I can use Deezer Hifi with mysqueezebox.com server?
Thanks!!!!!!!

I believe Deezer HiFi is using https - which doesn't work on mysb
directly. You'll have to run LMS 8.2+.

Thanks for the hint!
I configured LMS in Configuration->Advanced->Network->"Streaming mode for HTTP(S)" to buffer the data stream and after that I was able to receive Deezer Hifi (FLAC) with Squeeze Elite and in Browser.
I'll test the Touch later when I'll have access to it again.
Any chance to get this setting activated on mysqueezebox.com? Maybe Deezer Hifi would work with this as well on mysb?!

The real issue is that your local SB players can not play https streams.
A local LMS can fix that for you because it proxies the https, extracts the contents and passes it on to the player.
Having mysequeezebox act as a proxy would use potentially a huge amount of bandwidth.Paul Webster

I have a Deezer Hifi subscription, I have installed the deezer plugin on mysqueezebox.com, and the deezer plugin is shown as active on my LMS (8.2.0), but it doesn't show up on my home page or on the player. Any idea what I am doing wrong?"To try to judge the real from the false will always be hard. have you restarted LMS, and, or, rebooted the LMS computer ?
Filled in the correct info on mysqueezebox.com Player Settings ?
