A bit quiet over the last few days of 2015 so managed to digitise some vinyl.
One of the albums I did was this one - ♪ I'm listening to Hang On To Your Love
Sade • Diamond Life
A superb debut album from 1984 and the sound quality of this album is very good so the vinyl RIP to 16/44.1 FLAC isn't bad either !

Now listening to Lovers Rock
I bought this album because of the song Somebody Already Broke My Heart.
A few years back I saw a live performance on TV and I was blown away by this song. The album contains great songs but the engineer who recorded and mixed it should get fired. The mix is terrible; way to much bass in some of the songs. Shame to ruin the hard work of the artist...Yamaha A-S3000 (sliver) -> Focal Electra 1028 Be

Another album that I digitised the other day or more accurately redigitised. The first time I did it (years ago) I did it as a 320kbps MP3 rip. This time it's a 16/44.1 FLAC.
"The High Road (EP)" on @Wikipedia:
Never been released on CD to my knowledge hence not in the Spotify catalogue.
A four track 12inch EP of live tracks from their Avalon tour. Contains a version of Neil Young's Like A Hurricane - one of only two cover versions Roxy ever did. The other is their brilliant tribute reworking of Jealous Guy which they almost made into their own. Also on this EP.

Country at The BBC - BBC4
.... good grief, must have been a different century way back then .... Dolly Parton via Johnny Cash to KD Laing
... and prompted by The Dixie Chicks' appearance on the above programme ...

Woke up early (unintentionally), in time to catch the last couple of hours of La Monte Young's The Well-Tuned Piano on BBC Radio 3.
