SqueezeCenter slows down Computer tremendously

Can anyone help me with this issue
Whenever I have used Squeeze Center....after a certain number of days of use the laptop slows down tremendously and then traced the issue to the SqueezeCenter.
After the UnInstall the Laptop is back to normal and never had any problems with the SlimServer.
Can anyone help me with this one.

Did it use CPU or memory?

Yes

Its did use a lot of Memory over a period of time and the Computer would be back to normal once I would kill it in the Task manager.

What version are you running on which operating system?

It was the first version of Squeeze Center when it was launched on Win XP SP3
SQ Center v 7.0 and v 7.2

And since I have used only Slim Server what is the difference with the new one????
