I have gone through the process of enabling it through another web instance of Spotify.
When I enable it and run a music scan, I get this error and music library does not scan anymore.

Can you play back music from Spotify?

You can disable the integration in Settings/Advanced/Online Music
Library Integration. You should still be able to browse and play music
from the Spotty menu. Can you confirm?

I have tried to play music via SPOTTY and it does NOT play.
DISABLE spotty and the scanning works and I can route music directly to the spotify app that i have on my computer.
I have now disabled ONLINE MUSIC INTEGRATION and ENABLED SPOTTY.
No music on my SQUEEZELITE-X
I can play music on my SQUEEZELITE-X using IPENG
I went through the authorization process again and I can confirm that I can play tracks from the SPOTTY menu.
I was hoping to browze on my phone and send the stream to my computer where there is a SQUEEZELITE app installed.
I STILL CANNOT PLAY MUSIC FROM MY SPOTIFY APP

In Spotty settings did you select your player as a Connect endpoint?

Hi Michael,
Yes, I have the fields correct.
Connected by web interface and also the Client ID through the Spotify Developer
Although now the scanner does not seem to have a problem.
I cannot see anything under the SPOTTY app. When I click it, I get the following error.
Failed to get access token
Please check Settings/Advanced/Spotty Spotify for Squeezebox in the web interface
Hi Michael.
I have enabled logging and tried spotty again and It now works.
I have uploaded the logs for you anyway.
Any pointers on what is happening?
The problem is thats iPeng playback is great but SPOTTY does not play continuously. After a song or midway, it stops playing and sometimes I have to restart to end up with the same issue.
Any help ?
I am using picoreplayer as my front end. Is there any other player that incorporates SQZLite and Spotify for a RPI 3B+
