Fiio K3 hardware volume control

Hi everybody.
I want to use a Fiio K3 headphone dac with my rpi4.
At the monent my system is max2play with lms.
As music control i use the app ipeng.
Can somebody tell me if the fiio uses hardware volume control? In that case i can change volume via the app.

Or maybe another one. What i need is a dac supports native dsd an volume control via alsa.

Please describe the audio output pathway that you are using for the FiiO device and how, exactly, you use it

Hi. I do not use any output way.
I want to buy a k3. I do not have one at the moment.
