How did you update? New image, or insitu update. if you ran an insitu update, what version did you update from?

The hifiberry issue is being investigated

Sorry, I missed that. There was some significant changes to the update system in 2.05. Seems going from 2.04 to 3.00 is missing some things.

I would run the insitu update again.

              Unable to mount usb drive

First of all I'm not a Linux/unix guy and I'm trying to mount a usb drive to store my mp3's, but I've been trying for hours and no luck.

Under the main page resize fs the drive is shown but it dosen't cotain a valid partition table and when I look at the lms page it show disk mount disable and when I click on the set usb mount nothing happens.

I don't know how to figure this out so any help apreciated.

                1) Assuming you are coming from Windows, It would be best to format the drive NTFS if you plan to use LMS on that rpi. Insert the USB drive into your Windows Computer and copy the MP3's to it.
                2) Insert the USB stick onto your rpi
                3) Everything you need will be on the On the pcp web interface on the LMS tab,
                4) Install LMS
                5) Install the additional file system support.
                6) Now you can mount the Drive
                7) I would then set LMS to save the cache to the mounted USB drive.

Sorry- I can confirm that we have an issue with pCP3.00 and HifiBerry DACs (IQaudIO DACs still works).
We are still trying to understand what the problem is, but I don't have an answer yet.

If you use dmesg you will probably see something like this:

Those of you with HifiBerry problems - would you try to change your /mnt/mmcblk0p1/config.txt so that analog audio is changed to off.
So please try to change the line so it is: dtparam=audio=off

Then reboot and see if your Hifiberry DAC is working.

How do I do this? When I ssh into the PCP and go to this directory, there are no files there?

you need to mount mmcpblk0p1 first. We have a function that can do that for you.

                              So ssh into pCP.
                              write: m1

If you use winscp you can now find the files in /mnt/mmcblk0p1/config.txt and you can now easily edit it using the editor in winscp.

If you are using putty or similar you will have to use the editor "vi" to edit the file - continue like this:
                              c1
                              vicfg -> (edit), (save)
                              pcp br

                              reboot
