I've been struggling with this issue for quite some time. The settings for Online Music Integration keep switching from enabled ('Integrate online library') to disabled ('Do not integrate').

The attached image is from a fresh install I spun up a few weeks ago to test to see if the issue was just my old installs that's been used for several years -updated as new releases have come out using the built-in updater.

Sure enough tonight I decided to listen to music and sure enough both Tidal & Deezer were disabled. This image attached shows Tidal as disabled, but I just re-enabled Deezer and did a rescan - then shook my head and decided to post this

This happens for ALL the online libraries - Spotify, Tidal, and Deezer.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to exactly pin down when they become disabled - next auto music rescan? after restart? some other event?

I run 3 different instances on some mini pc's and this happens on all of them.

My question as always: any hints in server.log (see Settings/Information)?

It just seems so weirdly random when it happens, and I don't always listen to online music.

Over the summer months I haven't been listening much, but most any time I did want to listen to online music I would have to change the setting again and force a rescan - until the next time I happened to want to listen to online music.

I'll see if I can do some testing and pull some logs this week.
Are there any specific log settings I should adjust from their defaults?

Okay, just got back from vacation, went to listen to 'new music' which contains Deezer online library items and they were once again missing.

Checking the setting for Online Music Library Integration and sure enough, it now says 'Do not integrate online music collection'

Just a guess, but I'm assuming the line with 'Disabling polling for Slim::Plugin:eezer::Plugin lack of account information' is significant

Indeed! This should only ever happen if LMS checked for the existence of
a Deezer account on MySB, and that request returned successfully, but
empty. That should be logged in scanner.log - unless you run another
scan since. Could you please still double check?

From what I see, scans of the online library happen every hour and in my experience the issue is random.

Is there a way to have scanner.log contain multiple days of info, or does it always only contain the most recent scan?

It does a poll to figure out whether a scan is required every hour. But
the scan itself should only happen if something about your online
library has changed (new albums/playlists/etc. added).

Unfortunately it's overwritten with every scan run.

So if during this polling the 'lack of account information' error occurs, this then triggers the music rescan which causes LMS to remove any entries provided by Deezer and resets the flag to stop it from polling Deezer in the future - correct?

Yes, that would happen. We'd have to double check whether "failure to
get account information" is treated the same as "lack of account
information". But I'm sorry, I probably won't have time to check this in
the next few weeks.

I wonder if the solution to this will also solve the issue of the polling sometimes not returning the proper number of albums (instead it returns '2') and removing all of the albums.
Oddly, the number of artists & playlists seems to return correctly

Are you the guy with the 1000s of albums on Deezer?

LOL, yes I'm probably who you're thinking of. We also had discussions regarding your Band's Campout plugin for the same reason.

Deezer has a hard cap of 2000 'favorite' albums using their app/site. I use this like BandCamp's 'Wishlist'.

Come to think of it, I usually only see the number of 'Deezer Albums' listed during the scan in the 980's - never over 1000. Same with Artists. Guess I never thought about that part.

I use the 'New Music' menu 98% of the time as a way of sorting the albums in a reverse chronological order they were added so I can review them. These are albums & artists I see discussed in music forums, etc. This is handy since I probably won't remember the artist or album title several days later when I get a chance to actually listen to them. When compelling enough, I'll buy physical or download copies and remove them from Deezer Favorites/Bandcamp Wishlist

There indeed is a max of 1000 items per list. With a comment I left 9
years ago "# XXX - to be fine tuned..." :-)

But besides that I'm seeing a lot of failed connections to Deezer in the
log files. I don't know why those requests would fail. "Connection
refused". Why it would be refused so often, I don't know. I'll have to
check with them when I'm back.

Fair enough. At least it's on the radar now.

I search the forums every once in a while for answers, but haven't found anything specific.
I thought maybe it was just me, so it's been driving me a little crazy for a while now.
