    A new windows build SqueezePlay-setup-8.0.1r1360.exe that supports the Mono Output Channel Mode feature recently added to LMS 8.2 is available.

    Requires LMS 8.2.0-1613989247 from February 22nd 2021 or newer.

        SqueezePlay won't work after DAC replacement

        SqueezePlay won't work after DAC replacement. Seems to me it will try to play to old device and I cannot understand how to switch it. LMS 8.2, Win10x64. Any ideas?

            Tried to install this on Windows 10 64bit with JAVA JDK installed but I get this error:

                    As slartibartfast has already pointed out that this is NOT squeezeplay.

                    However, it appears that you are using a 64bit java which the installation notes for softsqueeze states that a 32bit jvm is required.

                        Annoying Sourcefourge behaviour

                        Annoying and confusing that Sourcefourge puts a prominent green 'Download Latest Vesion' above rhe Squeezeplay/Windows download page that takes you to the wrong app: Softsqueeze.

                        Apart from that: thank you @ralphy for keeping SqueezePlay alive! 8.0.1r1402 works fine on the work PC Dell Optiplex 3080 with Windows 11 and Realtek/Waves driver and bloatware. LMS 8.2.1 - 1633378390 on a Synology DS
                        Duet with LMS on Synology both at home and on ship, Squeezeplay on desktop

                            You're welcome and thank you for pointing out this problem.

                            I've managed to remove Softsqueeze-3.9.2.pkg as default download, but now SF defaults to the most recent file, regardless of which client, that I've uploaded for the platform you are browsing the site from.

                            Hopefully I can find a way remove the download button from the page.

                                Fixes the premature ending of tracks.
                                Connects via discovery to a user supplied remote library/server defined using the choose music source applet.

                                    The latest build works perfectly for me on Windows 11.

                                    I have been using winget lately to manage all my software installs on Windiows. Do you think it would be possible to provide such a way of installing SqueezePlay in the future?

                                        It's not something that I'd do.
                                        Linux is my OS of choice and only use windows to build and support LMS, nothing more.
