  • Can Home Assistant run LMS and PCP?

Currently have a pi4 doing each, but wondered if I could remove one from the equation and run LMS/PCP directly on the HA pi with it outputting to a USB DAC.

pCP is an operating system. So you can't run this along side another system. But LMS might be possible. What is HA running on?

Theoretically speaking you should be able to add the LMS Docker container to your HA installation. All add-ons etcetera are separate Docker containers already. Where it gets a bit more complicated is the access to you music, as HA isn't really the easiest in accepting external file systems.
      Main System: Marantz SR-5015 + Adam Audio T8V + Teufel Ultima 20 Mk 3 + BK Monolith+ FF + Lenovo T560 + Kodi + LG OLED65B26LA + UP-Board running Daphile
Kitchen: Touch + Ikea ENEBY 30
      Home-Office: SqueezeLite-X + Topping DX3 Pro + NAD 312 + TMA Premium 905

There is an LMS Server add-on for Home assistant available here: https://github.com/pssc/ha-addon-lms

Thanks. I'm thinking of running LMS on HA to free up the pi. Will have a go this week.
