I have recently bought a 3rd Generation Squeezebox or SB3 but it didn't come with a power supply. I naively thought the same plug I use for my Squeezebox Radio would work, but the barrel size is clearly different, and I'm not sure it's the right specification.
Can anyone tell me what spec power supply I should be looking for?

Do not attempt to try to adapt the Radio's PSU to fit the SB3 or it's toast!
I'm so happy that this didn't go south. The Radio PSU delivers 18V at 1A whereas the SB3 needs 5V at 2A. That's more than three times the voltage. It might have worked as the SB3 uses some voltage regulators but they would probably have blown sooner or later.
I think you can find the PSU specification on the bottom-side label of your SB3 as well.
By the way, it might be a good thing that you didn't get the original PSU along with the SB3 because these PSUs just suck. They are 90% or more responsible for SB3s failing. Or rather, people think the SB3 is what failed when it's just the crappy CPU.
Anyway, hope you find a good PSU that works, and enjoy the SB3. It's a delightful device.
