    Which Raspberry Pi OS Should I Be Using?

    I'm trying once again to do a complete reinstall of PiCorePlayer to my Pi 4. I use a USB hard drive attached to Pi for my lossless library of ALAC. Pi is ethernet connected to my router and I stream using SB Touch. I want to be able to play my library files and Tidal.

    Last install I could not get Tidal to work on the Pi but it did work with LMS running on my laptop and using that server.

    I installed Raspberry Pi 64 bit OS last time. Should I be using something else?

    pCP 32 bit.

    "It doesn't work - what shall I do?" - "Please check your server.log and/or scanner.log file!"
    (LMS: Settings/Information)

      I'm confused. piCorePlayer is built on tiny core Linux, and includes the OS.
      There's no need to install any other OS first, indeed I don't see how you would install piCorePlayer on top of Raspian.
      Until recently: Transporter -> ATC SCM100A, now sold :-(
      House move forced change to: piCorePlayer(RPi2/HiFiBerry DIGI2 Pro) -> Meridian 218 -> Meridian M6

        Up and running. I even got Tidal to work which was big problem. I think setting players to synchronize on mysqueezebox.com made the difference but not sure.

          Spoke too soon. Now I can only play Tidal. Won't recognize library on USB Hard Drive. Says it's not configured.

            When I suggested that you said it didn't work for you.
            Living Room: Touch or Squeezelite (Pi3B) > Topping E30 > Audiolab 8000A > Monitor Audio S5 + BK200-XLS DF

              It didn’t that time. I’ve started from scratch and this time it seemed to work.

              now my problem is I can’t connect SB Touch to pCP. It will connect to laoptip LMS but not pCP.

              im about ready to through it out the window 🤬

                And I realize setting on mysqueezebox has nothing to do with reloading software on pi - at least it shouldn’t.
