      Really nice.

      Any chance of a walkthrough with step by step photos when you do your next one?

      Edit: Sorry, I didn't spot your YouTube URL

        I presume you synchronise the two players to achieve the required effect.

        Two comments:
        1. It would make life much easier to use SB2's instead of SB3's. Their mainboards have the I/O sockets already in the same plane, so no need to move them. And their VFD displays are connected via ribbon cables and easy to relocate.
        2. Of course you will be taking satisfaction from the project, but to get the end result, just buying a Transporter would be so much simpler!
        Until recently: Transporter -> ATC SCM100A, now sold :-(
        House move forced change to: piCorePlayer(RPi2/HiFiBerry DIGI2 Pro) -> Meridian 218 -> Meridian M6

          They are nice, but I can't help thinking, using 2 SB's to make 1 is a criminal waste of one of the SB Classics.

          They are a finite resource.

            Aren't the VFD's on the SB2's smaller?

              No, they're the same...

              Nice idea, like the enclosures and great build video, always interesting to see this sort of stuff.

                Cool. I remember back in the day talking to Fred (who designed the SB3) that the SB3 was just a rehousing of the same hardware, with just minor changed to reflect the new look. The change greatly increased sales, and Fred claimed it was all due to his work.
