I noticed something that is probably not a big deal, but thought I would note it. - When you edit, and add a reason for editing, all is good. When you edit a second time, the reason for the first edit is gone.

Example - I commented on a thread, then went to find a url of another thread that might help. I edited, then added the comment "added url". Then I noticed my horrible spelling (I cannot for the life of me spell coming without two 'm's). So I edit to fix spelling, save, first edit comment gone.

    Something to keep in mind.

It’s not really a choice, certainly not a deliberate choice. I have no resources to run the forums on own infrastructure. Therefore we’re using a hosted solution which unfortunately comes with this limitation.

I would never have gone this path if I had a choice. I hardly ever visited the forums before, as mail was so much more efficient. Even Tapatalk sucks in comparison…

Michi, are you being serious about Tapatalk? I've never used LMS forums on mobile without it, and right now I'm not sure I ever will.
I access the web pages only for some serious research, but Tapatalk is inevitable if you want to stay on top of lots of discussions in different forums, not just logitech, with convenience.

I've written to them, and they told me at this time their plugin wasn't installed on your forums. So. I suppose it could be?

I miss the "mark all forums read" button. Is it there and I'm just not seeing it?

    Yes there is: https://www.vbulletin.com/en/manual

Don't know... I'm newer to this forum than most of you

No, I didn't, sorry, but I really don't do much typing on my phone and pads, I prefer a keyboard. I watch you kids with your two thumb typing on your phones and am amazed and envious .

Now, let's see if I hear from you all about "you kids"

I think we all get used to a certain way we use our tools, and we miss some aspects when we switch to a new one, that's all I was saying. Thanks @ktp for your suggestion. It is also not a hard thing to scroll down, but it seems strange that 1,2,...72 is at the bottom while only 1 <> at the top.

I always used Tapatalk before the forum changed and my phone is always on 😀. I always assume people are using Material skin on a phone as well, on a PC I normally use default skin.

A resize thingy would be nice

I think Ronnie's post got lost in my "last" button discussion. I also agree. The messaging environment has much improved in what you can do in a pm, it's almost like posting in the forum, except for the items he mentioned above.

Preview is super useful, especially with images and such, but it's not in PM.

The small text box reminds me of texting in android, you have this whole big screen available but room for only a few lines to compose in.

mherger instead of driving you nuts with all these requests, is there documentation available for the vBulletin platform that we could research and recommend a tweak, or, find out it's just not possible, without using your time?

It seems odd that the filter option to sort by last update isn't available for threads but only for sub forums.

But it's different on a PC desktop, at the top of the page you need to type in the last page number and press enter to get to the last page. Numbered pages only at the bottom of the page.
